Louisa County Historical Society
The Louisa County Historical Society is pleased to invite visitors to two museums: The new Sargeant Museum of Louisa County History (Tues and Thurs 10-4, and Sat 10-12-summer only) and the Jail Museum (Fri and Sat 10-12 during May-October).  They trust the rich history and diverse heritage of Louisa County will come alive as you experience our themed exhibits at the Sargeant Museum and the historical Michie House circa 1760.  Admission to the museum is free and donations appreciated.

Forrest Green Farm
A small family farm, located in Central Virginia.  They offer classes on gardening and healthy living. Their classes focus on growing for the future by teaching about natural and sustainable methods of growing herbs and vegetables for healthier, self-reliant living.  Forrest Green Farm is committed to supplying you with the best naturally and ecologically grown medicinal and culinary herb plants, dried herbal mixes and teas, vegetables, grass-fed beef, pastured chicken eggs, pastured poultry (whole chickens), and horse hay.

Southern Exposure Seed Exchange
Southern Exposure Seed Exchange offers more than 700 varieties of vegetable, flower, herb, grain and cover crop seeds. We emphasize varieties that perform well in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, although gardeners and farmers from all over the country grow our seeds. We offer many unusual, Southern heirlooms, including peanuts, southern peas, naturally colored cotton, collards, okra, roselle, turnip greens, corns for roasting and meal, and butterbeans. However, we serve gardeners throughout the United States and Canada. We do not sell chemically treated seeds.
